We're sending this week's Scoop earlier than usual because today deserves our full attention as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation calls us to pause, reflect, and learn.
We begin with 9 meaningful ways to engage with truth and reconciliation, from ceremony to storytelling. Three events today and six more from Oct 1-8.
Beyond these essential gatherings, we've curated 22 more local experiences across Greater Victoria, plus updates on our rugby finalists, Maynard Park's playground upgrade, and UVic's new Indigenous Law Centre.
Ready to connect with your community? Here's what's happening across Greater Victoria.

Greater Victoria Players Part of Team That Drew Nearly 82,000 Rugby Fans
Canada's women's rugby team played in the Rugby World Cup final before a record-breaking crowd of nearly 82,000 in England this past weekend. The squad includes several Greater Victoria players and trains locally in Langford.
